Are there any age restrictions? |

You must be at least 18 years old to attend any event. Each event is organised with an approximate age range in mind. It is possible to attend an event if you are slightly outside of this range. However, if you are significantly outside of this age range it may be unlikely that you get a match. Please check individual events for further details or contact us at events@meetflirtdate.co.uk for further guidance. |

How many people will I meet and what is the minimum number of participants for an event to go ahead? |

For speed dating events we aim to offer participants around 20 or more dates but we are not able to guarantee this quantity. The minimum number of participants of any speed dating event will be 10 couples except where the speed dating session forms part of a singles party – please confirm with the host/hostess. The number of participants attending a singles party or themed event will vary depending on the venue. Details on the event will indicate an approximate number were applicable. |

Do I need to purchase a ticket in advance? |

Yes. This particularly important for speed dating events where a definite number of participants are required for the event to go ahead. We need to book a venue and confirm numbers with them in advance to secure the date. We also need to ensure we have a right balance of men and women for all events. |

How do I book and pay for a ticket? |
| A. |
View the details on the events page and once registered you can pay for your ticket by debit or credit card via our secure online booking system. We use PayPal to process our transactions.
If you do not have a debit or credit card, you may pay by cheque. Call us on 07881 743580 for details on paying by cheque. A place will be provisionally reserved for you until your cheque arrives, is processed and the payment has cleared. No confirmations will be made until payment has been received. In exceptional circumstances your host/hostess may allow you to pay on the evening of the event. This is solely at the discretion of the host/hostess running the event on the evening.
Please note: there are only a limited number of offline tickets available by this method and you must check availability as soon as possible. You should allow at least 7 days before an event for this process.

Can I pay at the door without being registered or having made a prior booking? |

Not for speed dating events. However, we have a limited number of tickets to singles parties available at the door. You will be required to fill out a registration form on the evening. Please check individual events for details or contact us at events@meetflirtdate.co.uk. |

How do I know that my booking has been made? |
| A. |
An email is sent to your registered email address confirming your booking to an event immediately after your payment has been processed. If you do not receive a confirmation, please email your name, address and event details to events@meetflirtdate.co.uk or call one of the host/hostess detailed on the Contact Us page of this website.
All confirmations are sent by email - none are posted to you. You are required to produce your confirmation email at registration.

How do I find the location of an event? |

A map is included with the event details once they are posted onto the website. If you are unable to access this please contact your host/hostess and they will provide further directions. |

What is the dress code? |

Each event will vary depending on the venue restrictions and type of event. However we recommend you wear something smart which you feel comfortable and confident in which will make a good initial impression on your potential dates. The dress code guideline will be presented in the events details. |

Do you have a waiting list for booked up events? |
| A. |
Yes. If you wish to attend an event which is currently sold out, email your details including contact number and the details of the event you wish to attend to events@meetflirtdate.co.uk and request to be added to the waiting list. You will be contacted immediately once we receive a cancellation.
If there’s a high demand for tickets we may be able to expand the size of the event if the venue is able to provide a larger area for our party. Participants on the waiting list will be offered the additional tickets first prior to them being advertised.

Can I attend more than one event? |

Yes. You can attend as many as you wish, there are no restrictions. We organise a variety of events across a number of venues. The more events you attend the more people you're likely to meet. |

How do I know who my matches are from a speed dating event? |
| A. |
You will be contacted either by email or phone (where applicable) within 48 hours of the event to inform you of your matches. |

What is the cancellation and transfer policy? |
| A. |
All refunds are at the discretion of management or the host/hostess running the event.
Cancellation and transfer requests will only be accepted by email to events@meetflirtdate.co.uk. All fees quoted are per person.
Refunds will be provided where cancellations are received 5 days or more prior to the date of the event for which they are booked onto and will be subject to a £5 administration fee.
Cancellations received 4 days or less prior to the date of the event will not receive a refund but may request a transfer to another event. Transfers are also subject to a 20% (of the original ticket price) administration fee.
Transfers between events will be permitted up to 2 days prior to an event (subject to availability) and will incur a 20% (of the original ticket price) administration fee.

What is the ‘Guaranteed Success’ offer? |

We guarantee that you will meet at least one person at a meetflirtdate.co.uk speed dating event that you will want to see again. If you don't, you will be entitled to attend one further meetflirtdate.co.uk speed dating event free of charge. This guarantee is limited to only ONE further speed dating event and subject to the following conditions:
Only applicable to participants who have purchased a full priced ticket.
Guarantee does not cover speed dating sessions held at singles parties or any other themed nights.
Participants must not have entered any matches following the event.
Participants must take part in the whole event. If they leave early or do not take part in the event the guarantee becomes null and void.
Refunds will not be issued in place of a free event where future events have been booked.
Participants must abide by all meetflirtdate.co.uk terms and conditions.
